We invite you to join us Saturday, December 10th for the opening reception of The Gentle Craft.
The fraternity of Freemasonry has always been shrouded in secrecy: its traditions predominantly exchanged through word of mouth from generation to generation. The little information that has been written down has garnered monumental attention from popular culture: symbols playing roles in movies, music, and novels.
On December 10th, local Freemasons explore symbolic themes in their mixed media interpretations.
The list of masonic artists includes:
Joseph “Boo” Thomson
“What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal.” – Albert Pike, author of “Morals and Dogma: the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry”
Light refreshments will be provided.
